EFANY is an Amsterdam-based DJ and producer with Nigerian (Igbo) roots, crafting a sound that lives at the intersection of deep, Afro-inspired, and soulful electronic music. Raised in a culturally rich and creative environment, his connection to music started early—drawn to rhythm before he could even explain it, moving instinctively to every beat that filled the room.
Influenced by a family of creators—ranging from entertainers to designers—EFANY developed a strong sense of individuality and artistic direction. Surrounded by the sounds of hi-life, reggae, and Afrobeat, and inspired by legends echoing through his childhood home, he built a foundation that now shapes his signature sound: warm, rhythmic, and deeply rooted.
His productions reflect his heritage while embracing the future—blending deep grooves, soulful textures, and hypnotic Afro rhythms into immersive musical journeys. Whether it’s a late-night underground set or a more open, high-energy crowd, EFANY moves effortlessly between spaces, staying true to his core while reaching wider audiences.
Beyond the decks, EFANY is also an experienced audio engineer, bringing precision and depth into every production and performance.
He has performed at venues including Club Nova, Escape (residency), AFAS Live, SkyLounge Amsterdam ( now LUMINAIR ), and Sun’Deck (Slovakia), steadily building a name for himself both locally and internationally.
